1. When should I start using Rigs? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Also when you have low SP the most common problem is cap. So most newbiefits have capacitor rigs. Not that I would ever use one anymore, but when I was young...they really helped. Originally by: CCP Shadow Dr. Sheepbringer -- It's not tha...

2. T2 Frigs - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If you run missions (normal pve) then you have almost zero use of frigs. Almost every mission where you only need to do a peekaboo or blitz a shuttle will work. In all the rest a T1 frig will do fine. Assault Ships (frigates) are very good when ...

3. Go for a smaller tech 2 ship or a bigger T1 ship first? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Well some of the AF's are quite good, but it's rather skill specific and rare. Ishkur is a good example of a good AF that can cause a lot of grief. Jag/wolf also. From my experience, there is no better lvl1>lvl4 grinding ship than the ishkur....

4. prices too low? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
When people stop mining we use up your wares and suddenly everything spikes because there is no materials. Then they start mining again and can set the price on a much higher level. The trick is get the price high...not just "well i used to sell i...

5. Been out of the game for awhile - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I also had a 550d break and was in the same situation. I was lucky to find my old buddies though and joined them (again), but to get back into "eve" i started grinding a new mission corp and thus going from lvl1's to lvl4's gave the feel back. Now...

6. New Player - Great game! A few questions. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Also, all the skills are useful someday/sometime. I personally went the frig pilot way and I'm still at it. I have around 15mil SP, but I would have a lot more if didn't concentrate myself on V skills. I'm only a few lvs from maxing out droneskill...

7. Drones? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Originally by: Elysarian In my opinion the tiny drone bays in frigates are practically useless for combat drones. My Ishkur begs the difference. Originally by: CCP Shadow Dr. Sheepbringer -- It's not that kind of horn.

8. Why not dual tank? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
With baits ships it's ok to dual tank. Gives even more WTF?! moments to the attackers, but there is a downside. You need to have a ship that has shield tanking as priority. When a attacker takes the bait and finds himself a shield tanking armor sh...

9. Is there some part of EVE where you're griefer-safe? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I'm also quite amazed by this. When I was a noob I didn't a single problem. The first time I lost a ship to another player was when I started living borderlands and 0.0 and and even those losses came after months. You must be doing something wro...

11. Are Assault Frigs a Viable Choice for Level 3 and 4 Missions? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
My AF's a for more effective than my BC skills, but I still do lvl3 missions with a BC. Only because the marging of error is much smaller. But it's faster to you a ASssault frig untill you start coming face-to-face with BS. They aren't a problem a...
